Spiritual Truths within the Book of Revelation

The book of Revelation is about the spiritual struggle between the spirits of greed, selfishness, and all the evil spirits that go along with greed, - which fight against the Spirit of Love and unselfishness and all the good spirits that go along with Love.

The King of Kings is: the Spirit of Love. Remember Paul wrote that there remains Faith, Hope and Love, but the greatest is Love. Love is the King of Good Spirits, but the other good Spirits are also called kings. Good Spirits such as: Faith, Hope, Peace, Joy, Gentleness, Kindness. Etc.

The Beast - (Revelation 13:1) - is the spirit of greed and selfishness that will rise up in the world.

The Beast having seven heads and ten horns (Revelation 13:1) - are the various unclean and evil spirits that join with the spirit of greed and selfishness - spirits such as: (anger, hate, fear, deceit, cruelty, etc)

All the world wondered after the beast (Revelation 13:3) - the world follows the evil desires to acquire material possessions and worldly power, through greed and selfishness.

The Great Harlot that sits on seven mountains (Revelation chapter 17) - means the adulterous world-wide church: those who give God lip service, but in fact - are selfish and uncaring for the poor and needy. The mountains are the great Truths that those in the adulterous world-wide church, has and knows, but refuse to obey.

The Bride is: the True world-wide church: those who are loving and good, obedient and faithful.

The condition of the world today, plainly reveals the greed ( beast). Lots of television shows about getting rich, and making a fortune. People are playing Lotteries and gambling - hoping to get rich. Not wanting to be of service to others, but merely to get rich and have lots of "Things". We are taught from children to get good paying jobs, so we can make lots of money.

This is the thing (beast) that deceives the whole world -- greed and the selfish desire to be rich and powerful.
