Be Thankful to
God for all things Jesus gave
Thanks the Same night He was betrayed, all the while knowing what would happen. Can you give
Thanks when you know something has happened or will happen, which on the surface seems
terrible? Can you "Be of Good Cheer", when all seems to be going
wrong?
You must think spiritually and not
physically.
1 Corinthians 11:23-25 - For I have
received of the Lord that which also I delivered unto you, That The Lord Jesus the same
night in which He was betrayed took bread: And when He had given Thanks, He brake it, and
said, Take, eat: this is My Body, which is broken for you: this do in remembrance of Me.
After the same manner also He took the cup, when He had supped, saying, This cup is the
New Testament in My Blood: this do ye, as oft as ye drink it, in remembrance of Me.
(Note: The Scripture above, which
says "This cup is the New Testament in My Blood. Also means this: Read The New Testament, for when you do by correspondence, you drink the
cup, the Blood of Jesus, for He is The
Word of God)
John 16:32-33 - Behold, the hour cometh,
yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me
alone: and yet I Am not alone, because The Father is with ME. These things I have
spoken unto you, that in ME ye might have Peace. In the world ye shall have
tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
Psalm 100:4 - Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be Thankful unto Him, and
bless His Name
Psalm 107:1 - O Give Thanks unto The Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.
Colossians 3:15 - And let the Peace of God
rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye Thankful.
Ephesians 5:20 - Giving Thanks always for all Things unto God and The Father in the Name of our Lord
Jesus Christ.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 - In every thing give Thanks: for this is the Will of God in Christ Jesus
concerning you.
Prayer:
Dear Lord,
Your Word tells us: "Be thankful in all things". Sometimes it is hard to thank
You for something like cancer, or other illnesses. Sometimes it seems so tragic.
I ask You to give us strength and hope, as we struggle down here to cope with sin, evil,
illnesses and death. Give us Peace and Joy. And since I do not understand all
things as I should, I lean on Your
Word, and I obey Your Word, by saying right now. Thank You Dear Lord For all Things.
Amen Amen
