 MEEKNESS IS GOOD
Meekness does not mean weakness. It
is good to be lowly, patient and humble in spirit. Jesus set for us a perfect example
of meekness.
If we maintain a humble and meek
spirit, then the Holy Spirit is able to reveal the Truth of God's Goodness to us, and
through us to others. We will learn much wisdom and develop the character we must possess
when we dwell in heaven.
Psalm 25:9 - The meek will He guide
in judgment: and the meek will He teach His way.
Psalm 149:4 - For He taketh
pleasure in His people: He will beautify the meek with salvation.
Colossians 3:12-13 - Put on
therefore, as the elect of God, Holy and Beloved, Bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness
of mind, meekness, long-suffering; Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if
any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.
Prayer: Dear Father help me to cast
all my care upon You, and trust in Your Love to deliver me from violence; let not anger
kindle it's cruel flame upon me. Amen
